Background

Kevin M. Loftus is a partner with the firm. Mr. Loftus graduated from St. Peter’s College with a Bachelor of Arts in 1980 and Hofstra University School of Law with his Juris Doctor in 1983.

Mr. Loftus was admitted to practice in New York in 1984 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of Westchester County, New York State, and American Bar Associations, as well as The American Association of Justice Defense, The Defense Research Institute, the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Kevin Loftus has been selected as New York State Super Lawyer for the New York Metro Region every year between 2013 to present in the field of Medical Malpractice.

Experience

Commencing in 1984, Kevin Loftus began litigating cases in the New York State and Federal Courts. He has handled hundreds of cases involving serious injuries in the fields of Automobile Accidents and Product Liability. He represents doctors, hospitals, and nurses in complex medical malpractice lawsuits throughout the State of New York.

Kevin Loftus has acted as supervising counsel overseeing litigation across the United States in complex cases involving medical malpractice, product liability, personal injury, and insurance coverage. He has also represented numerous insurance companies, drug manufacturers, and non-FDA producers of herbal supplements, as well as representing defendants in bad faith litigation.
