William R. Watson

Mr. Watson was admitted to the Bar in 1984, New York and U.S. District Court for the Southern District. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University (B.S., 1980); Ohio Northern University (J.D., 1984).e is a member of the Westchester County, New York State and American Bar Associations. Mr. Watson is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and AIG’s National Environmental Defense Panel.

Experience

William R. Watson, a general partner with the firm, started his career in 1984 as a litigator with O’Connor, McGuinness where he has tried numerous cases to successful conclusion. Those categories of cases handled by Mr. Watson include construction accidents, automobile accidents and toxic tort claims.


Mr. Watson is also a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense division which defends numerous medical malpractice actions in a variety of medical fields including obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery, vascular surgery, oncology, trauma surgery and nursing home care including cases involving Section 2801 of the Public Health Law. William R. Watson has been responsible for taking numerous verdicts at trial in these fields.


Mr. Watson is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s environmental law practice division, which represents clients in various aspects of environmental law and environmental litigation.
