Background

Monica G. Snitily is a partner with the firm. Ms. Snitily graduated from the University of Rochester (B.A. Cum Laude, 2000) and Pace University School of Law (J.D. Cum Laude, 2003). Ms. Snitily was admitted to the New York Bar in 2004, the New Jersey Bar in 2003, and she is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and New Jersey District and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Snitily is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Attorneys.

Experience

Ms. Snitily clerked for a New Jersey Superior Court Judge prior to joining the firm as a litigation attorney in 2004. Since joining the firm, she has handled numerous cases to successful conclusion, including complex medical malpractice lawsuits, automobile accidents, premises liability, bad faith allegations and general liability matters in the New York, New Jersey and Federal Court systems. She has argued before the Appellate Division and is also responsible for taking numerous verdicts at trial in these fields throughout her career.

Ms. Snitily is also a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense division which defends numerous medical malpractice actions in a variety of medical fields including obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery, vascular surgery, oncology, trauma surgery and nursing home care including cases involving Section 2801 of the Public Health Law. Monica G. Snitily has been responsible for taking numerous verdicts at trial in these fields.
